Amazon KDP fee calculatorKDP pays 70% of the list price minus delivery costs ($0.15 per MB on Amazon.com) for ebooks priced $2.99 to $12.99, or 35% of list price with no delivery cost at any price from $0.99 to $200. Amazon keeps the rest.
Bandcamp fee calculatorBandcamp's revenue share is 15% on digital sales, dropping to 10% once you reach $5,000 in sales, and 10% on physical items (shipping and tax excluded). Payment processing is separate: 1.9% + $0.30 for PayPal or 2.2% + $0.30 for cards on transactions of $8.07 or more, and 5% + $0.05 below that. Revenue share is waived on Bandcamp Fridays.
Buy Me a Coffee fee calculatorBuy Me a Coffee keeps 5% of every payment. Stripe processing of 2.9% + $0.30 (plus 0.5% on memberships and 1% on non-US cards) comes out of your earnings unless you turn off "Cover credit card fee," in which case supporters pay it on top.
Fiverr fee calculatorFiverr keeps 20% of everything a client pays for your order, including Gig extras and tips, so you earn 80%. Clients also pay a separate service fee of 5.5% plus $3.50 on orders under $200. Withdrawals to PayPal are free; funds clear 14 days after completion.
Gumroad fee calculatorGumroad keeps 10% + $0.50 on every sale that comes through your own links or profile, and a flat 30% when a new customer finds you through Gumroad Discover. There is no monthly fee; card and PayPal processing are not included in those figures.
Kick fee calculatorKick keeps 5% of subscription and KICKs revenue as a processing fee and pays you 95%. Subscriptions are a flat $5 a month, so each one pays $4.75. Payouts go out through Stripe to your bank with no currency conversion fee.
Ko-fi fee calculatorOn the free plan Ko-fi takes 0% of one-time tips and a flat 5% of shop sales, memberships, monthly tips, and commissions. Ko-fi Gold ($12/month) drops the service fee to 0%. PayPal or Stripe processing, typically around 3% + $0.30, applies on top because payments go straight to your own account.
Patreon fee calculatorCreators who launched after August 4, 2025 pay Patreon 10% of earnings plus payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30 per payment. Legacy Founders (5%), Pro (8%) and Pro + Merch (11%) plans keep their rates, with 5% + $0.10 processing on tiers of $3 or less.
Substack fee calculatorSubstack keeps 10% of paid subscription revenue. Stripe then charges 2.9% + $0.30 per payment for US cards plus a 0.7% recurring-billing fee. Free publications pay nothing.
Teachable fee calculatorTeachable is a paid subscription: Starter $39/month ($29 billed annually) with a 7.5% transaction fee, Builder $89 ($69 annually) and Growth $189 ($139 annually) with 0% transaction fees. Every sale also pays payment processing, 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards.
Twitch fee calculatorTwitch keeps 50% of net subscription revenue for most streamers. Plus Program streamers keep 60% at 100 Plus Points or 70% at 300 Plus Points, with no revenue cap. Ads pay creators 55% of the revenue for each ad, and Bits pay 1 cent each.
Upwork fee calculatorUpwork charges a Freelancer Service Fee of 0% to 15% per contract on everything you earn, including bonuses; you see the exact rate before you accept and it is fixed for the life of the contract. Withdrawals to a US bank by ACH are free; Instant Pay costs $2 and a USD wire $50.
YouTube fee calculatorYouTube keeps 45% of net ad revenue on long-form videos, 55% of the Shorts revenue allocated to you, and 30% of net revenue from channel memberships, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Super Thanks.
