How Kick fees work
Kick is a live-streaming platform built to compete with Twitch, and its main pitch to streamers is the split. Kick says you keep 95% of all revenue you receive and the other 5% is taken as a processing fee. That applies to subscriptions and to KICKs, the virtual gifts viewers send in chat.
Subscriptions on Kick are a flat $5 per month. When a viewer subscribes, you receive $4.75 and Kick keeps $0.25. Ten subs pay $47.50; a hundred pay $475. On Twitch's standard 50/50 split the same hundred subs would pay you half of the net revenue instead.
KICKs work the same way: when a viewer sends KICKs on your channel, you receive 95% of the value.
Getting paid runs through Stripe. Kick delivers payouts directly to your bank account; verified streamers can choose weekly or monthly payouts, while non-verified streamers are paid monthly. US bank transfers arrive in 2 to 3 business days and US instant debit-card payouts arrive in minutes, with a $9,000 per-payout cap. Stripe processing fees apply where Stripe charges them, but Kick absorbs Stripe's 1.50% currency conversion fee, so international streamers receive their full payout at real-time rates.

Ways to keep more of each Kick sale
- Count subs at $4.75 each when you set goals. 100 subs is $475 a month before any Stripe payout charges; 1,000 subs is $4,750.
- Get verified if you want weekly money. Verified streamers can switch to weekly payouts; everyone else waits for the monthly cycle.
- Use ACH rather than instant debit unless you need the cash now. Both are delivered through Stripe, and instant payouts are capped at $9,000 per payout.
- Promote KICKs for one-off support. They pay the same 95% as subs, so a viewer who will not commit to $5 a month can still send you nearly all of what they spend.
- Do not price around conversion fees. If you are paid in a non-USD currency, Kick absorbs Stripe's 1.50% conversion fee, so your payout is converted at real-time rates with nothing taken off.
